What an exciting weekend I had the pleasure of having this...past....weekend. Wow that started smooth and got a little redundant. Anyhow... it was amazing. I traveled from my personal training studio in Lafayette and we all met in Mountain View, Ca about 60 trainers and about 20 successful fitness business professionals. They shared their knowledge on how to motivate and inspire clients and how to run a smooth entrepreneurial business. AJ Roberts was there Luka Hocevar, Dennis Dumas, Mark Fisher, Corey Taylor, Seth Munsey, Brian Grasso and many many others.
Everything we learned is applicable to anyone. The theme was this. 1.Clarify your purpose 2. Become relentlessly committed to it 3. Get a coach to hold you accountable. And in doing to you will be able to follow your dreams. This is nothing new right? But it is something we lose track of. Our dreams, our hobbies, what makes us happy. Are we finding time for it EVERY day. How hard is it to carve out 15 minutes a day for happiness. It's very simple and yet I have challenges with it. Maybe I watch an episode of breaking bad instead of taking the time to play guitar or sing. We all do it but we need to stay strong. 97% of people try 3 times and give up. That means that if you keep trying at whatever it is you can be a pat of that 3% that achieve. And I want to help you. Please leave a comment below about your dreams or any troubles you are having with nutrition, weight loss, fitness etc and I will help you. If you haven't signed up for my weekly email go ahead and do it here. If you don't want to I am going to find a way to automatically post them here once I write them....I think.

If you want to sign up for my weekly newsletter where I provide motivation and health tips sign up HERE Moving to Lafayette as a Personal TrainerIt was a tough choice as I was making good money at my old job but the hours were brutal and I felt stagnant. I made the jump to a small studio down the hill in Lafayette and started doing personal training there. The transition has not been easy but I feel so much better about the work I am doing and my work life balance. No longer do I have to awake at 430 am train 12 sessions rinse and repeat. I am able to give more value to my client because I can afford to have fewer more committed clients. The creative juices are flowing and they are seeing great results. I am so looking forward to what lies ahead and I hope you will join me. Until next time ( I swear it won;t be long.)
